DONALD TRUMP TO BE ARRESTED FOR THE LEFTS CRIMES
The Arresting of Donald Trump
Former President Donald Trump will, according to media reports, be arrested by the George Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney. (When we don’t know)
No American president has ever been indicted after leaving office.
The details: On Friday 17th March 2023, Fox News was told by “a source in the courts” that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg requested a meeting with law enforcement to coordinate Trump’s arrest.
What’s he being arrested for?
This goes back to the $130,000 “hush money” payment Trump made to pornstar Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. Daniels alleged she had an affair with Trump in 2006. Trump vociferously denied it but opted to have his then-lawyer Michael Cohen pay her to go away ahead of the election.
…but that’s not what he’s going to be arrested for.
The charges: DA Bragg is trying to take an accounting error, a misdemeanor charge, and turn it into a felony.
Trump’s accountants wrongfully filed the $130,000 payment as a legal expense instead of a campaign expense.
These exact charges were already rejected by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York. The chair of the Federal Election Commission also doubted the validity of the case. Bragg’s predecessor, Manhattan DA Cy Vance, also rejected the case.
Trump in handcuffs: The same source who shared the arrest details, also claimed the Manhattan DA was speaking with the Secret Service about whether or not they would allow Trump to be handcuffed.
Corruption
Nothing to Bragg about: Since taking office in January 2022, DA Bragg downgraded 52% of the city’s felony charges to misdemeanors, putting dangerous criminals back on the street. In Trump’s case, he’s done the opposite and upgraded a misdemeanor to a felony.
Bragg was also given a hefty $1 million campaign donation from far-left-wing mega-donor George Soros.
Hillary Clinton had a similar violation in 2021.
Remember, Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign paid for the infamous [and now debunked] Steele Dossier, which claimed Trump was colluding with Russia.
She filed that expense as a “legal expense” instead of a campaign expense – exactly what Trump did.
What was her punishment?
She paid a fine and wasn’t arrested.
Trump’s reaction
Trump responded to news of the potential arrest with an ALL CAPS post on Truth Social:
“…WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”
A spokesman for Trump clarified that his claim of a Tuesday arrest was not a confirmation that he was made aware, but rather a reaction to the case in general.
Reactions across the political world
Elon Musk tweeted: “If this happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory”
Democrat lawyer Alan Dershowitz: “Equal protection of the law requires equal application…Mr. Bragg would be violating that important principle if he seeks a grand jury indictment based on what now appears to be the slim evidence and even slimmer legal basis.”
New York Times columnist David French: “Based on the publicly-available information, I’m skeptical of the Manhattan DA’s case.”
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy went on offense, saying: “I’m directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions.”
Big picture: I’ll let you decide what Bragg’s motivations are here, but one thing is indisputable. Since this story has come out, all of the unfavorable headlines plaguing democrats have disappeared. We are still on the brink of economic collapse and WWIII. But the media is 24/7 on the Trump arrest.
It’s almost as if it were done on purpose…
