GOVERNOR NEWSON DID NOT DISCLOSE SVB TIES WHILE CHEERING FOR THEIR RESCUE
Greasy Gavin Newsom didn’t disclose SVB ties while cheering for their rescue
California Gov. Gavin Newsom was glowing with praise for the Biden regime’s intervention in the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and its decision to ensure all depositors got their money back.
…but Newsom failed to disclose that he was one of those depositors.
Newsom’s statement said, in part:
“California is a pillar of the American economy, and federal leaders did the right thing, ensuring our innovation economy can continue to grow and move forward.”
What it didn’t say: Three of the wineries he owns have accounts with Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and his own personal bank accounts are also held with the bank.
Newsom was such a good client for SVB that it donated $100,000 to his wife’s charity in 2021.
A Newsom spokesman responded, saying: “Gov. Newsom’s business and financial holdings are held and managed by a blind trust, as they have been since he was first elected governor in 2018.”
…blind trust since 2018, yet SVB donated to his wife’s charity in 2021. Doesn’t add up.
