Speaking directly to his supporters, DeSantis remarked, “I can’t ask our supporters to volunteer their time and donate their resources if we don’t have a clear path to victory. Accordingly, I am today suspending my campaign.”

In response, Donald Trump, during a rally in New Hampshire, commended DeSantis for running “a great campaign for president” and expressed anticipation in collaborating to defeat “Crooked Joe Biden.”
With DeSantis out of the race, the Republican primary narrows down to two prominent candidates: Trump and Haley. National polls overwhelmingly favor Trump, commanding 66.1% support compared to Haley’s 11.5%. However, the dynamics shift in the Granite State, with tighter polling figures (Trump: 49.8%, Haley: 36.1%). DeSantis’s endorsement and his 6% support in New Hampshire could prove influential, offering Trump additional support in a state that tends to lean a bit left.
