BIDEN’S WHITE-LAST COVID TREATMENT POLICY

The Biden regime has issued guidance instructing medical professionals to discriminate against white patients when distributing Sotrovimab, a monoclonal antibody treatment for covid.

Here’s what it says: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) handed down this directive in a sneaky way. It issued a “fact sheet” that calls for only giving the treatment to patients at “high risk for progression to severe COVID-19.” But here are some of the qualifiers for being considered “high risk”:

“Hispanic and non-Hispanic Black adults have a higher prevalence of obesity and are more likely to suffer worse outcomes from COVID-19”

“Racial and ethnic minority groups have historically not had broad opportunities for economic, physical, and emotional health, and these inequities have increased the risk of getting sick and dying from COVID-19 for some groups.”

Press rewind: I guess we shouldn’t be surprised by this race-based guidance. Back in January 2020, Biden spoke about how he planned to distribute covid resources, saying:

“I want to be very clear what my priorities are for distributing this emergency aid swiftly and equitiibly… Our priority will be Black, Latino, Asian, and Native American owned businesses, women owned businesses.”

In addition to the clear racial prioritization, the guidance calls for prioritizing other at-risk groups like patients who are obese, pregnant, senior citizens, or have cardiovascular disease.

This directive is almost identical to the directive handed down in New York state, Utah, and Minnessota, where their scales give priority to healthy minority patients over white patients with, for example, congestive heart failure.

This is what the left calls equity.
