INFLATION HITS EASTER

Joe Biden’s ruined just about everything in his path… Now he’s ruining Easter too.
Skyrocketing costs of raw materials like milk, sugar, and cocoa are making Easter candy a lot more expensive this year.
According to the New York Post, the average cost of an Easter basket has gone from $50.46 pre-pandemic to $61.83 today – that’s a 22.5% increase!
Here’s what the increase looks like, broken down by some of the most popular Easter candies:
Peeps: $3.99 to $4.99
Jelly beans [lb]: $3.99 to $4.99
6-ounce chocolate bunny: $4.99 to $5.99
Easter Pez: $3.99 to $4.90
Hershey bars: $0.99 to $1.25
Eggs (dozen): $1.55 to $2.49
Cadbury eggs (4-pack): $2.50 to $3.99
The $1.50 increase in Cadbury eggs crosses the line for me. I wait all year for those tiny sugar bombs.
These increases may seem trivial.
But it’s just another way that the American family is getting squeezed by the mismanaging of our economy by our feckless president.
