JAMES O’KEEFE REMOVED FROM PROJECT VERITAS
James O’Keefe was ousted as CEO of Project Veritas by the company’s board of directors. The circumstances surrounding his removal from the company he founded are… suspicious.
O’Keefe announced his ousting to his staff, which was recorded and distributed publicly [I link to it below].
🎥 It’s long; 44 minutes. But it’s worth watching James O’Keefe address his Project Veritas staff for the last time, as he’s pushed out of the company he founded.
Since it’s already out there, here are my heartfelt remarks to my staff this morning.
I need to make clear I have not resigned from the company, Project Veritas, I founded 13 years ago. I was stripped of my position as CEO and Chairman.

He said:
“I was stripped of all decision-making last week. I have no position here based upon what the board has done.”
Back up: O’Keefe founded Project Veritas in his father’s basement back in 2011. It’s since grown into a 60+ member non-profit investigative journalism outlet that specializes in sting operations and has produced undercover footage from some of the biggest organizations in the world like Pfizer and Twitter.
What happened? Sometime over the past few weeks, O’Keefe had a very public blow-up with one of the company’s board members. This led to a small contingent of 16 employees, signing a letter claiming they were “frustrated with James’ management style and business acumen.”
The sketchy timing: This all happened right after the bombshell undercover sting
on a senior Pfizer executive who was working on their mRNA vaccines and admitted to discussing mutating covid so the company could create new vaccines.
O’Keefe told his staff:
“Nothing about how I conducted myself over the past 13 years has fundamentally changed, until now, so what has changed in the last 3 weeks? What has changed? The only thing that has changed is that we broke the biggest story in our organization’s history [Pfizer].”
The fallout: Project Veritas has lost more than 225,000 followers on Twitter. And their big-money donors have issued a cease and desist order to the company, saying they “have grave concerns about the Board of Directors’ reported the action to remove Founder and CEO James O’Keefe from his leadership position.”
What comes next: Aside from the implosion of Project Veritas? O’Keefe hinted in his farewell address at a new venture:
“Our mission continues on. I’m not done. The mission will perhaps take on a new name.”
