MASS MIGRATION EVENT COMING TO OUR SOUTHERN BORDER

U.S. intelligence officials are privately warning of a “mass migration event” at our southern border this spring if a Trump-era border policy called Title 42 is allowed to expire.
What is Title 42? It was first put into place by the Trump administration through the CDC in March of 2020. It used the pandemic as a reason to turn back migrants seeking asylum.
Title 42 is ‘reassessed’ by the CDC every 60 days.
The next deadline for reassessment is in early April.
Internal White House sources told Axios that it likely won’t be renewed.
What to expect once Title 42 is repealed: The administration expects human traffickers to exploit the lifting of Title 42 to “generate a mass migration event.”
Department of Homeland Security estimates that 25,000 migrants already are waiting in Mexican shelters for Title 42 to end.
Border officials are expecting more than 200,000 border encounters in March, up from 164,000 last month.
Back up: During Joe Biden’s first year in office, border patrol encounters with illegals reached an all-time high of nearly 2 million.

…and this was with Title 42 in place. Look at the 2022 trend line [orange]. It’s already out-pacing last year’s record-breaking number.
April also happens to be, historically, when the number of illegals seeking to cross the border usually spikes. So if you thought that the Biden border crisis was bad in 2021 – buckle up for 2022.
