The left loves to demand “health care for all.” Apparently, that doesn’t extend to the unvaccinated.

David Ferguson, a 31-year-old father of two, is literally fighting for his life and in desperate need of a heart transplant. He was next in line for a transplant when Bringham and Women’s Hospital removed him from the transplant list because he hasn’t taken the covid vaccine.

According to David’s father: “It’s kind of against his basic principles, he doesn’t believe in it. It’s a policy they are enforcing and so because he won’t get the shot, they took him off the list of a heart transplant. My son has gone to the edge of death to stick to his guns and he’s been pushed to the limit.”

The hospital, which is a branch of Harvard University, rationalized its decision by claiming transplant recipients were at a higher risk of dying from covid because “their immune system is drastically suppressed.” They said:
“We do everything we can to ensure that a patient who receives a transplanted organ has the greatest chance of survival.”
…”greatest chance of survival.” Well, David’s chance of survival is zero if he doesn’t get this transplant.

David’s reasoning: According to a GoFundMe page set up for David, it says his resistance to the vaccine has to do with his fears of it causing heart inflammation, which has been a well-documented side-effect. The page says:

“[David] can NOT afford for his heart to swell any more than it already is right now. He is at extremely high risk of sudden death if it does.”
The family is considering moving him to another hospital that will give him a transplant despite his vaccination status, but worries he’s already too weak to be moved.

Hard to believe that this is the state of our medical system.
