NFL PLAYERS REACT TO LEAGUE’S VAXX RULE

Some of the NFL’s biggest stars are speaking out against the league’s new Covid-19 rules that specifically target unvaccinated players.

The new rule says: Teams will have to forfeit games if a Covid outbreak occurs on the team and the game can’t be rescheduled – if the outbreak is caused by unvaccinated players. Additionally, players on both teams will lose their game checks.

What the NFL is doing here is pitting teammates against each other, saying: if you don’t get your vaxx, your whole team is getting fined. It’s like in high school ball, where if one player messes up, the whole team runs.

🏈 Star NFL wide-receiver DeAndre Hopkins tweeted [and then deleted]: “Never thought I would say this, But being in a position to hurt my team because I don’t want to partake in the vaccine is making me question my future in the @nfl.”
He replaced the deleted tweet with a simpler: “Freedom?”
🏈 Star running-back Ezekial Elliot spoke out saying: “I got the vaccine… But I mean, not everyone feels that strongly or maybe other people still have their view of vaccines. You can’t force someone to do something that they don’t want to do to their body,

🏈 Star cornerback Jalen Ramsey tweeted: “I know 2 people right now who got the vaccine but are covid positive.. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I’m just saying. I wouldn’t look at a teammate as bad if he doesn’t get the vax, no pressure from 5️⃣”

🏈 Patriots linebacker Matt Judon tweeted his frustration with the player’s association after the rule was announced: “The NFLPA F—ing sucks.”

🏈 Buccaneer’s running back Leonard Fournette tweeted [and then deleted]: “Vaccine I can’t do it…….”

And these are just some of the players that had the courage to say these things publicly. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
