READ THE POLLS JACK
Joe Biden got VERY mad at a reporter who asked him for his thoughts on a new poll that said 2/3 of Democrat voters don’t want him to run in 2024.
Biden lashed out, insisting that it wasn’t true. [It’s true]
Here’s how it went down…
Reporter: What do you say to Democrats who don’t want you to run again?
Biden: They want me to run.
Reporter: Two-thirds say they don’t.
Biden: Read the polls. Read the polls,
Jack. You guys are all the same! That poll showed that 92% of Democrats if I ran would vote for me.
The poll:
Both of them were citing data from a recent New York Times poll that asked Democrats about the 2024 election.
It’s true that when Democrats were asked if they’d vote for Biden if he were the 2024 Presidential nominee, 92% said yes.
But what Biden ignores is that those same voters were asked if they’d prefer Biden be replaced and 64% said yes.
Big picture:
Joe Biden is obviously rattled by his poll numbers being in the toilet. That’s why he had that misleading 92% stat ready to go.
