REST IN PEACE SHINZO ABE

Shared By Peter Boykin – American Political Commentator / Citizen Journalist

Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated overnight [Friday morning in Japan] while giving a speech in support of his party’s candidates in an upcoming election.

Back up: Abe, 67, served as Japan’s Prime Minister from 2012 to 2020 before resigning for health reasons.

Abe was a fierce anti-communist who defended his country’s geopolitical interests against the Chinese Communist Party.

Former President Donald Trump released a statement:

“Really BAD NEWS FOR THE WORLD! Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is dead. He was assassinated.

His killer was captured and will hopefully be dealt with swiftly and harshly. Few people know what a great man and leader Shinzo Abe was, but history will teach them and be kind. He was a unifier like no other, but above all, he was a man who loved and cherished his magnificent country, Japan. Shinzo Abe will be greatly missed. There will never be another like him!”

Meanwhile, this is how NPR [funded by your tax dollars] framed his death in their headline:

“Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a divisive arch-conservative and one of his nation’s most powerful and influential figures, has died after being shot during a campaign speech”

Rest in peace, Prime Minister.
