THE COST OF RAISING A CHILD IN BIDEN’S AMERICA
It now costs more than $300,000 to raise a child through high school, thanks to out-of-control inflation brought on by the policies of the Biden regime.
Details: The Brookings Institute ran the numbers for the average married, middle-income couple with two children and calculated what it would cost to raise them through the age of 17:
The grand total was $310,605 – an average of $18,271 per year.
That number has risen by $26,011 – a 9% jump – since they last conducted this study two years ago.

In July 2022, compared to the prior year:
🥪 Food prices rose 10.9%
🍼 Baby food rose 15%
⛽️ Gasoline rose 44%
💡 Home electricity rose 15.2%
💨 Home utility gas rose 20.5%
🚼 Infant and toddler clothes rose 8.2%
Isabel Sawhill, a senior fellow at Brookings said: “A lot of people are going to think twice before they have either a first child or a subsequent child because everything is costing more.”
