ABORTION LAWS IN EUROPE ARE STRICTER THAN THE U.S.

Most American leftists don’t know that abortion laws in progressive Europe are much more restrictive than they are in the United States.
Liberal HBO comedian Bill Maher admitted on his show:
“I learned things this week… that are pretty basic things that I did not know about abortion. Like, in Europe, the modern countries of Europe, way more restrictive than we are… Did you know that? I didn’t know that.”
What does abortion law look like in Europe?
In the following countries, abortion is banned after:
🇩🇪 Germany: 12 weeks
🇮🇹 Italy: 90 days
🇸🇪 Sweden: 15 weeks
🇵🇱 Poland: Only for rape or risk to mother
🇬🇧 United Kingdom: 24 weeks
🇫🇷 France: 12 weeks
🇪🇸 Spain: 14 weeks
🇨🇭 Switzerland: 12 weeks
Big picture: The likely overturning of Roe v. Wade sets up a moral debate in our country. The progressive, pro-abortion side seems to be growingly advocating for abortion on demand, up to the point of birth. But even the super-liberal European nations they covet don’t go that far.
I wonder how many of them, like Bill Maher, don’t even realize how far to the left they’ve gone on this issue.
