Joe Biden proclaimed that the Second Amendment is “not absolute” during a speech to the nation while outlining a laundry list of laws he wants Congress to pass to limit gun rights.

Back up: Biden’s speech comes in the wake of the recent mass shootings in Uvalde, Texas and Buffalo, New York – two evil and tragic events that Democrats are trying to use to limit the gun rights of law-abiding Americans.

Biden claimed with a straight face that “this is not about taking away anyone’s guns” right before outlining his plans to take away guns…

Here are the provisions to restrict gun rights that Biden outlined in his speech:

A complete ban on “assault weapons”

Ban on “high capacity” magazines [over 10 bullets]

Enacting “safe storage” laws [telling you how you need to store your own gun in your own home]

Enact red flag laws [police can take your gun without due process]

Make gun manufacturers liable when crimes are committed with their products

Strengthen background checks

And if an assault weapons ban doesn’t pass, he wants the minimum age to buy raised to 21-years-old

Big picture: Every day more Americans are embracing their right to bear arms, while the Democrats try to restrict them.

Here are some stats to keep in mind

5.4 million Americans bought guns for the first time in 2021

30% of all the guns sold in 2021 were to first-time gun owners

Women make up 50% of the new guns bought since 2019

There have been more than 1 million guns sold every month for the past 34 months

So while Biden and the Democrats pretend to be representing the will of the American people, the truth is, they’re subverting it.

The good news is that even Biden’s own officials are privately skeptical that Congress will pass any substantial bill to limit gun rights, according to a report by Axios.
