As the U.S. Border Patrol braces for an illegal immigration tidal wave once Title 42 comes to an end, the Biden regime has built a massive tent in the middle of the Texas desert in an attempt to quickly process and move illegals into the interior of the country.

Back up: Title 42 is the Trump-era immigration policy that allowed Border Patrol to reject migrants on the bases of public health due to the Covid pandemic.

The Biden regime has sued to lift Title 42 and an appeals court ruled it must end.

Border Patrol estimates that once it’s lifted, as many as 15,000 illegals will cross the border every day…

That’s 5.4 million in a single year.

Biden’s border tent is literally larger than a football field located in the middle of the West Texas desert. It’s going to be used to handle overflow from the existing Central Processing Center (CPC) in El Paso, Texas.

CPC can process 1,400 per day. But Border Patrol expects as many as 5,000 in El Paso alone once Title 42 is repealed.

Waiting in the wings, there are currently 20,000 migrants waiting across the border in Mexico for Title 42 to be repealed, and plan to rush the border as soon as it is.

Big picture: Our nation’s resources are already overwhelmed – especially along the border. El Paso had to turn its convention center into a shelter for illegal immigrants and is currently housing 1,000. The city is now planning to convert two vacant middle schools into shelters.

El Paso’s mayor Oscar Leeser said: “It’s still going to get worse before it even gets better, and that’s what we’re preparing for.”
