If Republicans fail to respond now, it’s a precedent for recurring abuse every time we’re in office. Moreover, Biden deserves scrutiny. However, it’s imperative to expedite proceedings to avoid bleeding into the 2024 election, which could inadvertently galvanize Democrat voters.
