In a social media video shared on X (previously known as Twitter), Comer emphasized, “This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account tied to his corporation, receiving funds from China and other murky sources worldwide.”
Drawing sharp conclusions, Comer labeled Owasco PC as a purported money laundering conduit. He pointedly declared, “Hunter Biden is currently under investigation by the Department of Justice for utilizing Owasco PC in alleged tax evasion and other grave criminal activities.”
Responding to Comer’s accusations, Hunter’s attorney defended the transactions, asserting, “The truth is Hunter’s father provided assistance during his financial struggles due to addiction, unable to secure credit for purchasing a truck.”
This revelation comes in the wake of House Oversight’s previous discoveries, unearthing checks directed to Joe Biden – a significant sum of $40,000 from his daughter Sara in 2017 and a staggering $200,000 from Joe’s brother James in March 2018, further complicating the financial entanglements within the Biden family.
