This is how Biden-Harris are fudging the border numbers

The Biden-Harris administration is claiming success at the southern border, boasting about a reduction in illegal alien apprehensions. This assertion is misleading, as they are manipulating the statistics.

The Details: U.S. Border Patrol reported approximately 56,000 illegal alien apprehensions at the U.S.-Mexico border, marking the lowest since September 2020. Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security, who faced impeachment for his handling of border security, claimed this as a victory. He stated to CBS News, “This is the product of a number of actions this administration has taken.”

The Reality: The official numbers do not account for individuals admitted through two controversial Biden-Harris immigration programs:

CBP One App: This mobile app allows individuals to apply for asylum from their home countries and enter the U.S. uncontested. This program admits about 1,500 people daily, equating to roughly 45,000 per month.

Humanitarian Parole: This program facilitates the entry of individuals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, offering them “humanitarian parole.” This program allows up to 40,000 individuals per month.

Combining these hidden entries, the total number of illegal aliens entering the U.S. each month is approximately 95,000. Adding this to the official count of 56,000, the actual number of illegal entries is closer to 151,000, significantly higher than the previous year’s 132,652 encounters.

Throughout the Biden-Harris administration, there have been record-high monthly border encounters, peaking at 250,000 in December 2023.

In 2021, President Biden assigned Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the administration’s efforts to address illegal immigration. Despite this, the administration now distances her from the title of ‘Border Czar.’

Opinion Alert: The claim of a solution to the border crisis by the Biden-Harris administration is seen by many as a deceptive tactic rather than a genuine resolution. This manipulation of data suggests a disregard for the American people’s ability to see through these misleading statistics.
