Joe Biden’s Use of Pseudonyms for Communication Raises Questions
Recent statements by Rep. James Comer have shed light on the use of pseudonyms by Joe Biden during his time as Vice President. Comer, serving as Chair of the House Oversight Committee, has sought access to records that coincide with Hunter Biden’s business engagements in Ukraine.
In a letter addressed to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Comer requested documents related to Joe Biden’s communications during the period of his vice presidency that intersect with Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings.
Comer’s letter outlined various pseudonyms reportedly attributed to Joe Biden, such as “Robert L. Peters,” “Robert Ware,” and “JRB Ware.” These aliases were identified in emails related to Hunter Biden’s international business affairs.
One particular email, examined by the House Oversight, contained Joe Biden’s schedule, featuring a meeting with the former Ukrainian President Poroshenko. However, this email was directed solely to “Robert L. Peters” and Hunter Biden.
Amidst these developments, it’s worth noting that Joe Biden has consistently denied having prior knowledge of his son’s foreign business activities.
Simultaneously, Hunter Biden received substantial monthly payments of $83,000 from the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma for his board membership. Hunter’s associate, Devon Archer, has characterized these payments as a means to leverage the Biden “brand.”
The House Oversight Committee conveyed its stance: “Should there be any intersection between Joe Biden’s official responsibilities as Vice President and his son’s involvements in Ukraine, it’s essential for the American public to be informed.”
The House Oversight Committee has set a deadline of August 31 for NARA to provide the requested documents.
