This selective targeting is what makes this issue so contentious. If the real concern were truly about protecting kids, wouldn’t there be equal scrutiny across the board? The fact that LGBTQ+ events are being singled out suggests that this is less about protecting children and more about silencing a group of people that some in power simply dislike.

For conservatives who truly believe in freedom, the fight against government overreach should be consistent. The state has no business dictating who can and cannot gather in public spaces based on subjective moral standards.
