MAGA RUNS LIZ CHENEY OUT OF WYOMING

Harriet Hageman, the Trump-endorsed candidate for Congress in Wyoming, wiped the floor with incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney – one of the former president’s most prominent haters.

It wasn’t even close: With 95% of the votes counted, here’s what the count looks like:

Hageman: 66.3% (113,025 votes)

Cheney: 28.9% (49,316 votes)

Trump’s revenge: 8 out of the 10 members of Congress who voted to impeach Trump have now either been defeated or resigned in order to avoid defeat.

Bigger picture: This is a good day for all Americans. Liz Cheney was a warmonger, who represented the interests of corporatists and the global elite. She’s the face of the do-nothing GOP of the past and we should all be happy to see her go.

Trump took a victory lap, posting on Truth Social:

“Congratulations to Harriet Hageman on her great and very decisive WIN in Wyoming. This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs. Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!”

Rep. Lauren Boebert put it more succinctly, on Twitter:

“Girl, BYE!”
