QANON SHAMAN RELEASED FROM PRISON
Jacon Chansley, better known as the ‘QAnon Shaman’ was released from prison early and transferred to a halfway house – just weeks after previously unseen footage showed him being peacefully escorted through the Capitol by police.
Chansley was one of the over 1,000 people arrested in connection to the January 6, 2021 riot (J6) at the U.S. Capitol. He was sentenced in 2021 to 41 months in prison for a range of non-violent crimes like civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, and being inside a restricted building.
Early release: Chansley wasn’t supposed to be released for another 14 months.
So why was he sprung early?
Tucker Carlson’s J6 tapes: House Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave Fox News host Tucker Carlson access to thousands of hours of security footage from the U.S. Capitol on J6.
Carlson’s investigation uncovered previously unseen footage of the Capitol Police peacefully escorting Chansley through the building, even trying to unlock doors for him.
Why was Chansley released? The Federal Bureau of Prisons has not commented on the reason for his release. But Chansley’s lawyer denied it had to do with the Tucker investigation.
This is just me speculating, but it sounds like the lawyer is just playing ball with the Bureau of Prisons. It can’t be a coincidence that three weeks after previously hidden footage is uncovered, Chansley just happens to walk free…
