THE COST OF BIDEN’S BORDER CRISIS
Let’s do some math…
According to a new report by The Federation for American Immigration Reform, every illegal immigrant that crosses the border into the United States will cost taxpayers over $9,000 per year in housing, food, medical care, and other services.
Customs and Border Patrol data tells us that 5 million illegals have crossed the border since Biden took office.
$9,000 x 5,000,000 = $45 billion dollars
To put that into perspective, here’s how that money could be spent helping American citizens:
Provide every homeless veteran with $50,000 per year for two decades
Give every household in America earning less than $50,000 a grocery voucher for $1,500
Funding the entire National School Lunch Program
Hiring 500,000 police officers to help combat crime
Hiring 650,000 teachers to lower class sizes so children get more individual attention
Give every active duty military personnel a $40,000 bonus so they don’t have to rely on food stamps.
…and we could have built Trump’s border wall 5x [he requested $8.6 billion from Congress in his 2019 budget].
