The National Archives Holds Thousands of Emails from Pseudonym Accounts Used by Former Vice President Joe Biden
The National Archives and Records Administration has acknowledged the existence of approximately 5,400 emails associated with pseudonym accounts utilized by then-Vice President Joe Biden. These accounts were employed for the purpose of sharing government information and engaging in business discussions involving his son, Hunter Biden, and other individuals. In response, the Southeastern Legal Foundation, a non-profit organization specializing in constitutional law, has taken legal action to compel the National Archives to provide access to these emails.
The Southeastern Legal Foundation revealed that the National Archives confirmed the use of pseudonyms such as Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware during Joe Biden’s tenure as part of the Obama administration. This confirmation aligns with previous reporting by Just the News regarding Biden’s practice of employing personal email and pseudonym accounts while serving as vice president.
Initially, the legal foundation submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for Joe Biden’s emails in 2021, representing Just the News editor-in-chief John Solomon. In the following year, the foundation renewed its request with a second FOIA submission, but the National Archives has yet to produce any of the requested emails.
The recent lawsuit filed on Monday by the Southeastern Legal Foundation increases the pressure on the National Archives to release the mentioned documents. Kimberly Hermann, General Counsel of the Southeastern Legal Foundation, emphasized the significance of transparency in maintaining governmental integrity. Hermann stated that the release of nearly 5,400 emails is essential for public awareness.
The Southeastern Legal Foundation is not alone in its efforts to obtain access to Joe Biden’s emails. In a separate development, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has also urged the National Archives to provide communications from Biden’s time as vice president, specifically those involving his interactions with his son and business associates.
