We are on the verge of the largest border crisis in American history.

In 2021, the first year of Biden’s illegitimate presidency, records were shattered for illegal entry through our southern border with over 1.7 million border encounters. For perspective, that’s more than the population of Dallas, Texas.

In 2022, we’re on track to top the damage Biden did in his first year with border encounters expected to reach 2.1 million. So far this year:

January: 153,941

February: 164,973

March: 221,303

…all three months outpace 2021 [see chart above]. The solid red line is the actual number of crossings in 2022 so far. The dotted red line is the 2022 Princeton Policy forecast.

And it’s about to get even worse:

These record-breaking numbers come with Title 42 in place – the Trump-era policy that used the covid pandemic to allow border patrol to turn back illegals claiming asylum.

Biden plans to lift Title 42 on May 23.

170,000 migrants are currently waiting in Mexico and plan to cross into the U.S. as soon as it’s lifted, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Border town chaos:

Hidalgo County, Texas Sheriff Eddie Guerra says Border Patrol has warned him that his city may be overrun with illegals once Title 42 is lifted. He said:

“We’re asking [Biden] to reconsider lifting the Title 42.”

Democrats are worried:

The looming chaos even has some Democrats politicians raising alarm bells about lifting Title 42:

Ohio Democrat Rep. Tim Ryan said: “The administration’s decision to roll back Title 42 is wrong and reckless.”

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin said Biden’s move was a “frightening decision” and said Title 42 has been “essential” for controlling migrant flows.

Arizona Senator Mark Kelly said: “it’s going to be a crisis. It’s not a very humanitarian thing to do.”

…and these are just a handful of the dozen or so Dems opposing the move.

According to Axios, all the blowback has the Biden inner circle discussing delaying the repeal of Title 42.

We’ll see how this plays out…
