As it stands right now, it’s still too early to declare a winner.

But with 76% of the votes cast:

Katie Hobbs (D): 50.3%

Kari Lake (R): 49.7%

The comeback: After being down 15 points on election night, Kari Lake has narrowed the gap to less than 1%. And there are still 605,480 votes waiting to be counted.

Game-day voters: According to most analysts, the remaining ballots are from mostly game-day voters – in other words, the people who voted on election day rather than voting by mail early. Those votes always favor Republicans.

Kari Lake alleges that Arizona election officials are playing politics with the remaining votes.

Speaking to Tucker Carlson last night, Lake said:

“It’s really odd that [election officials] are dragging their feet in delivering what everybody wants to know – the 650,000 votes… that were the Republican voters.”

It’s worth noting that Lake’s opponent, Katie Hobbs, is still in charge of the state’s elections because she is the current Secretary of State.

I feel confident in telling you that it’s only a matter of time until Kari Lake is declared the winner. But corrupt election officials are trying to drag it out to deflate the energy around her win. They already stole her election-night celebration. Now, if I had to guess, I’d say they wait until a Friday afternoon when people are busy starting their weekend.
