TRUMP INDICTED AGAIN
Donald Trump has been indicted by the Joe Biden Department of Justice [DOJ] for his efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 election and his role on January 6.
A federal grand jury impaneled in Washington D.C. by DOJ special prosecutor Jack Smith voted to charge Trump with four crimes:
conspiracy to defraud the U.S.
conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding
conspiracy against rights
obstruction of an attempt to obstruct an official proceeding
In plain English: Smith is making the case that Trump publicly pushed claims of fraud in the 2020 election while privately believing otherwise. Smith will also make the case that Trump illegally pressed officials in five battleground states to pursue his claims of voter fraud.
‘Weak’ charges: Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andy McCarthy tore into the Biden DOJ’s latest indictment, saying: “This was as weak as it was foretold to be… the problem I think Jack Smith has is that Congress has not enacted statutes that directly criminalize the behavior that Smith is talking about. But what he has to do is distort statutes in order to try and pigeonhole the behavior into them.”
Trump is now facing 78 counts across 3 separate criminal indictments. If convicted and given the maximum sentence for each count, he would be in jail for 74 years.
Election interference? Trump responded to the new charges, with a statement saying: “This is nothing more than the latest corrupt chapter in the continued pathetic attempt by the Biden Crime Family and their weaponized Department of Justice to interfere with the 2024 Presidential Election… why did they wait two and a half years to bring these fake charges, right in the middle of President Trump’s winning campaign for 2024?”
A strange pattern in Jack Smith’s charges: Every time some damaging news drops on the Biden family, Jack Smith drops new charges against Trump the very next day:
June 7: FBI gives Congress documents that show the Biden’s took a $10 million bribe from a Ukrainian energy company.
June 8: Jack Smith indicts Trump in Mar-a-Lago docs case.
July 26: Hunter Biden’s plea deal gets rejected by judge.
July 27: Jack Smith adds more charges for Trump in the Mar-a-Lago case.
July 31: Hunter Biden’s business partner testifies to Congress that Joe spoke directly to his son’s shady business partners over a dozen times.
August 1: Jack Smith indicts Trump again for January 6.
What happens next? Trump has been ordered to appear in court.
Warning: As loose as these charges may be, this is all going down in Washington D.C. where the jury pool will be made up of a population that voted 92% for Joe Biden in 2020. And the Obama-appointed judge assigned to this case is known for handing down harsh sentences to J6ers.
