TRUMP’S PLAN TO DRAIN THE SWAMP

President Trump is already working with allies to formulate his plan to fire 10,000 swamp-rat government bureaucrats on day 1 if he runs and wins in 2024 and replace them with America-first professionals.

Back up: President Trump accomplished a lot during his first 4 years in office. But he could have accomplished more had it not been for the deep state trying to kneecap him along the way – people like James Comey, Dr. Fauci, General Mark Milley…

The details: A blockbuster report by Axios explains how Trump and his allies are working to “effectively upend the modern civil service” by re-instating Schedule F…

What is Schedule F? It’s an executive order that Trump signed in October of 2020, which would have created a new employment category for 50,000 federal employees who are in “positions of a confidential, policy-determining, policy-making, or policy-advocating character” and allowed a President to fill those positions as he/she sees fit.

This would extend to federal employees at the FBI, CDC, the Pentagon, DOE, etc…

Biden rescinded this executive order

For perspective: New presidents typically replace and appoint about 4,000 ‘political’ appointees. Schedule F would reclassify up to 50,000 federal employees who previously enjoyed lifetime protections, and coasted from one administration to the next.

Trump-ally Russ Vought, who is President of the Center for Renewing America, is part of Trump’s team working on Schedule F. He told Axios:

“We are consciously bringing on the toughest and most courageous fighters with the know-how and credibility to crush the deep state.”

Former Trump advisor Stephen Miller, who runs America First Legal, which challenges many of Biden’s policies in the courts, is also working on Schedule F, putting together a list of lawyers who are pro-Trump and ready to fill general counsel jobs if Trump is re-elected in 2024.

Related: A straw poll taken at this past weekend’s Turning Point USA Student Action Summit found that 78% of young voters pick Trump as their 2024 candidate, while 19% picked Ron DeSantis.

While there’s clearly time for things to change, all signs point to Trump on the ticket in 2024. And if he wins, his Schedule F plan sounds like a great first step.
