Let’s go, Brandon…
Joe Biden continues to set records for all the wrong reasons. Under the first year of his Residency, the United States plunged to an all-time low on the Heritage Foundation’s annual Index of Economic Freedom.
The U.S. fell 2.7 points to a record-low score of 72.1
We also fell to our lowest-ever global ranking of 25th
The index looks at several categories when calculating scores: rule of law, size of government, regulatory efficiency, free markets, property rights, judicial effectiveness, government integrity, and tax burden.
Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts said: “The decline of American economic freedom is serious cause for alarm and has real and tangible consequences for all Americans, especially low-income families and the working class.”
The top 5 countries on the Economic Freedom index were:
Singapore, Switzerland, Ireland, New Zealand, Luxembourg
The bottom 5 countries were:
North Korea, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Cuba, Venezuela
