Public data sourced from the Social Security Administration (SSA) reveals a concerning trend in three pivotal battlegrounds for the 2024 election: Texas, Pennsylvania, and Arizona.
Texas Takes the Lead:
Since the beginning of the year, a staggering 1,250,710 individuals in Texas have registered to vote without presenting a photo ID, raising significant red flags about the reliability of the voter verification process.
Pennsylvania’s Alarming Figures:
In Pennsylvania, the number stands at 580,513, amplifying concerns about the susceptibility of the electoral system to potential manipulation or fraud.
Arizona’s Growing Concerns:
Meanwhile, Arizona has witnessed 220,731 registrations from individuals lacking photo ID, further exacerbating anxieties surrounding election integrity in the state.
Loopholes in Federal Law:
Under federal law, first-time voters are permitted to register even in the absence of a government-issued photo ID or driver’s license. The Help America Vote Act of 2002 mandates the use of Social Security Numbers (SSNs) for identity verification, with the last four digits cross-checked through the SSA’s Help America Vote Verification (HAVV) system.
Election Integrity Risks:
However, reliance on the HAVV system poses inherent risks. Instances of data and human errors within the SSA database could potentially allow illegal immigrants, who obtain work permits and Social Security Cards, to exploit loopholes in the voter registration process and cast illegitimate ballots.
Public Demand for Voter ID Laws:
