Now, let me speak from the heart for a moment.
After our last article – What If the Government Tried to Deport YOU by Mistake? (https://gorightnews.com/what-if-the-government-tried-to-deport-you-by-mistake/)- exposing these bureaucratic threats, I was accused—by some of my fellow Republicans no less—of “gaslighting”, of “click baiting”, and even of “spreading misinformation”.
Here’s the frustrating truth: most of these critics didn’t even read the article. They were quick to judge, quick to comment, and quicker to dismiss—just like the very bureaucrats we criticize.
Sure, we expect that kind of behavior from the Left. But at least some on the Left still demand sources and dig into the facts. Nowadays, it seems like many conservatives are just as eager to label anything they dislike as “fake news” or “misinformation,” without even a glance at the evidence. Ironic since so many of them followed the ramblings of an Anon called “QAnon” on a obscure 4-chan Chat board.
The internet has become a battlefield of false binaries. Left vs. Right. Truth vs. Propaganda. But Go Right News exists to go beyond that. We’re not here to serve partisan narratives—we’re here to defend Constitutional principles and tell the truth, no matter who it offends.
Some of the responses to our articles have been truly absurd:
“They already use migrants in the military. What if they steal our information!” (Note: security is put in place that classified intel will NOT get in the hands of non-citizen migrants)
“This is leftist propaganda.” (This… on Go Right News?)
“She was never deported!” — As if that negates the danger of glitch-induced fear.
The point was never that a U.S. citizen got deported—the point was that a bureaucratic screw-up can lead people who have a legal right to be here to panic, flee, or worse. And with our current system offering cash and incentives for voluntary departure, how many will leave who shouldn’t?
Rewind a few years:
What if the government put you in confinement since January 6 for walking through an open door?
What if you were arrested for praying on a public sidewalk?
What if your government let in millions of unvetted illegal aliens, while turning its back on allies who helped us fight terrorism?
We ask these questions not as hypotheticals, but as warnings. Because they’re happening.
And they deserve answers—not apathy.

A Father’s Plea and a Republic’s Reckoning
Imagine this: you’re a father, a former interpreter for U.S. forces in Afghanistan. The Taliban nearly executed you for your loyalty to our troops. You survived, escaped, and were welcomed into the United States under the promise of protection. Now you’re raising your family in North Carolina—your children go to school, you contribute to your community, and you believe in the ideals of our Constitutional Republic.
Then one morning, your inbox lights up with terror. A notice from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security appears—demanding that you leave the country in seven days. No hearing. No explanation. No chance to argue your case. Just a faceless, digital verdict: “It’s time for you to leave the United States.”
This isn’t a nightmare or a bad movie script—this is real. And it is unacceptable.

In a previous article on Go Right News titled “What If the Government Tried to Deport YOU by Mistake?” we explored how even U.S. citizens were receiving mistaken deportation notices. Whether it’s a digital glitch or bureaucratic incompetence, the result is the same: lives upended, trust in the system shattered.
Now we’re seeing those same “mistakes” land in the inboxes of people who fled for their lives—people who trusted the promises of our Constitutional Republic. And it’s not just a paperwork problem. It’s a moral and legal crisis.
There is no due process. There is no case-by-case evaluation. Just a “you overstayed your welcome—leave in a week.”
Let’s be honest—who can upend their entire life and move to a foreign country in a week? Especially when that country might kill you.
IMMIGRATION POLICY AND DUE PROCESS FAILURES
North Carolina Families Receive Notice to Leave Country Within 7 Days
Facts: Families legally living in Wake County, North Carolina—many of them Afghan refugees granted Temporary Protective Status (TPS)—have received stunning deportation notices via email from DHS. The message states clearly: “Your parole will terminate 7 days from the date on this notice.”
This sudden “termination of parole” means immediate self-deportation or face law enforcement action, civil fines, and penalties.
Amanda Herbert, Chief Communications Officer at Refugee Hope Partners in Raleigh, stated: “These notices were informing them that they had seven days to depart the country and if they did not, that they would be found. It was a pretty alarming message.”
Herbert’s organization works directly with these families—helping with education, housing, and healthcare. She described the situation as chaotic, especially because most recipients are law-abiding individuals who followed every legal procedure to come here. One Afghan man, who asked not to be identified, explained that he fled to the U.S. after nearly being executed by the Taliban. He now fears for his life if forced to return.
“It’s difficult to see people who are here legally, who were promised safety and aid, and have followed the rules and the right processes to be here,” Herbert said. “Their children are in school, they’re working… and for there to be just a quick, not well thought out email that completely changes their lives… It feels like those promises have been taken away.”
Marc Wyatt, Founder of Welcome House Raleigh, also questioned the legitimacy of the notices, suggesting they may have originated from the CBP One app process and were possibly sent in error. However, he criticized the tone and timing:
“It appears to us that it was intended to make a quick decision,” Wyatt stated. “It happened at the start of a weekend, so in every way, I think it was created to cause fear and chaos.”
Despite skepticism, both Refugee Hope Partners and AfghanEvac are advising families not to leave the country until they’ve spoken with an immigration attorney.

This recent Go Right News article highlighted a DHS error where a U.S. citizen was mistakenly sent a deportation notice. This so-called “glitch” exposed terrifying vulnerabilities in the government’s automated enforcement systems.
This wasn’t just a clerical error. It was a fundamental failure of the Constitutional Republic’s duty to protect its citizens from arbitrary government overreach.
Opinion: As a Constitutionalist, this kind of bureaucratic blunder should terrify all of us. If the federal government can try to deport a citizen by mistake—and now, it’s issuing blanket notices to legitimate asylum seekers—then we are witnessing a collapse of due process. No amount of digital convenience or political rhetoric justifies trampling the rights of lawful residents or American citizens.
Trump Advisor Suggests Deportation Critics Are Breaking the Law By ‘Aiding and Abetting’ Terrorism
Facts: Sebastian Gorka, Senior Director for Counterterrorism under the Trump administration, defended the wrongful deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man mistakenly deported to El Salvador.
Despite Garcia’s attorneys denying he was ever involved with MS-13, Gorka maintained that critics of the deportation were “aiding and abetting criminals and terrorists,” a bold and legally questionable claim.
Gorka stated: “It’s not left and right, It’s not even Republican or Democrat. There’s one line that divides us: Do you love America, or do you hate America? It’s really quite that simple.”
Even FCC Chair Brendan Carr joined the attack, threatening media outlets like Comcast and accusing them of distorting the news.
Opinion: This is not how our Constitutional Republic functions. While I stand for strong borders and immigration enforcement, using government power to silence media or label critics as terrorists is a slippery slope toward authoritarianism. Gorka’s black-and-white framing—”love America or hate it”—cheapens the complexity of constitutional discourse and puts liberty at risk.
FISCAL CONSEQUENCES AND PRIVACY RISKS
A New IRS-ICE Agreement Could Reduce Tax Revenue by $300 Billion Over the Next Decade
Facts: A new agreement between the IRS and DHS allows ICE to access taxpayer data for immigration enforcement. This breaks with decades of precedent, where the IRS safeguarded data to ensure tax compliance even among undocumented immigrants.
The Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy estimates that 50-75% of undocumented immigrants pay federal taxes, contributing nearly $96.7 billion annually. According to the Budget Lab at Yale, fear-driven noncompliance could reduce tax revenue by up to $300 billion over ten years.
Critics warn this will discourage immigrants—legal and illegal—from filing taxes and jeopardize the privacy of all taxpayers. Even U.S. citizens could have their data mishandled under this policy.
Opinion: This isn’t law enforcement—it’s fiscal sabotage. The Republican Party stands for low taxes, yes, but we also stand for fiscal responsibility. This policy could blow a hole in the budget and infringe on the privacy of millions of Americans. It is unconstitutional, shortsighted, and dangerous.

We are seeing the line between order and tyranny blur. Afghan allies, legal TPS holders, the very people we begged for help in foreign wars, are being threatened with sudden exile. Families with children in public schools are now scrambling to find lawyers. One Afghan man—nearly executed by the Taliban—now faces deportation by the very country he served. Why? When Gorka says dissent is terrorism and the IRS starts handing data to DHS, it becomes crystal clear—we’re not dealing with bad policy anymore. We’re dealing with a crisis of constitutional integrity.
Our government should protect its citizens and honor its allies—not criminalize them through administrative rights violations. Imagine the impact on the innocent. Imagine the American father, the military translator, the asylum seeker, who trusted the system to protect them—and now they’re thrown into a bureaucratic nightmare.
This isn’t just a “glitch.” This isn’t a matter of “mistakes being made.” These are real lives, real families, at risk. All because of the failure of an overreaching, indifferent system that has forgotten its responsibility to protect the rights and safety of the people it governs.
When you have millions of Americans rightfully demanding answers, demanding accountability from the government, it’s time to take a hard look at what this system has become. The U.S. government, designed to serve its people, should not be treating its citizens, immigrants, and allies like collateral damage in an impersonal game of bureaucratic catch-up.
If we let this slide—if we allow these injustices to continue unchecked—what are we telling our children about the future of liberty and justice? What does it mean to be American if our government abandons the very principles of due process, fairness, and protection of life and liberty?
We cannot let this happen. We cannot stand by while innocent people are caught in the crossfire of government incompetence. We must demand that our leaders put the Constitution before expediency, and that they remember that their first duty is to serve and protect all the people of this nation—those who have given their blood and tears for freedom, and those who seek refuge from tyranny.
This is no longer just an issue of policy. This is an issue of principle, of liberty, and of humanity. And we must act now. We must rise together to hold our government accountable—before it’s too late.
