WHY IS BIDEN STILL FORCE-MASKING KIDS?

I had to look up at the sky to check if pigs were flying when I read an article from the New York Times that was actually calling out the Biden regime for continuing to force-mask young children…

What is Biden doing?

He’s kept mandatory masking requirements on the books for Head Start that require all teachers and children as young as 2 years old to wear masks.

This requirement contradicts his own CDC guidelines, which were updated last month to recommend masking only if there’s high community transmission.

This rule for Head Start was first implemented last November when the Delta variant was causing a surge in infections across the country.

Background: Public schools in the United States are run by the states. But Head Start preschools are run by the federal government. Under this structure, the Biden regime has authority over them.

Big picture: This comes as almost all public schools [even in blue states] have made masks optional for students and teachers.

Developmental issues: According to the NY Times, “masks can make it more challenging for some children to develop early speech and reading skills, which are learned, in part, by observing mouths in movement, according to research.”

Next steps: Attorney Generals in Texas, Florida, and other red states have sued the Biden regime to prevent this from taking place and so far the courts have imposed an injunction in those states.
