We also should not hand a few corporations unlimited power over systems capable of affecting communications, employment, infrastructure, national security and privacy.

Guardrails are not the enemy of liberty when those guardrails protect liberty.

Liberty works because nobody gets unlimited power.

The Moment They Say They Need Unlimited Power, Pay Attention

Military power needs objectives.

Prosecutorial power needs evidence.

Corporate power needs competition.

AI power needs safeguards.

Executive power needs constitutional limits.

The moment someone tells you their cause is important enough to operate without guardrails is exactly the moment those guardrails matter most.
