BIDEN KILLS NEW OIL AND GAS PROJECTS

Just in case you still had any doubt that Joe Biden is intentionally trying to destroy the United States…
The Hill is reporting that Joe Biden is canceling the planned oil and gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska – the latter would have opened up more than 1 million acres.
Back up: Right after Biden took power in January 2021, he signed an executive order freezing all new oil and gas leasing on federal land.
The big picture: This decision comes as U.S. energy prices have hit all-time highs. As I write this, both diesel and regular unleaded are sitting at their highest prices ever. According to AAA national average:
Regular unleaded: $4.418
Diesel: $5.557
In Alaska, the Biden regime claimed it was canceled due to a “lack of interest” but the reality is that the Biden regime is the reason for the lack of interest. Steve Milloy, a former member of Trump’s EPA transition team, said:
“In Alaska, the problem was that the greens scared off virtually everyone. It’s expensive to explore and drill, and the greens made it pretty clear, they were going to make it even more difficult.”
…”the greens” he’s referring to are the radical environmentalists in the Biden regime.
In the Gulf of Mexico, Biden canceled two contracts due to “conflicting court rulings” but, like Alaska, those conflicting rulings are Biden’s own fault. After Biden froze new oil and gas leases, and Trump-appointed federal judge struck down Biden’s order. Now the Biden regime has challenged that judge’s ruling.
This is evil to its core. As American citizens are suffering, Joe Biden is doing everything in his power to make it worse.
