Newly released tax filings from Black Lives Matter founder Patrisse Cullors reveal how she used charity donations to pay friends and family millions of dollars for “consulting” services.

Back up: Cullors resigned from BLM in 2021 after allegations of financial improprieties and criticism of her purchase of several multi-million dollar homes. This is the same woman who described herself as “a trained Marxist.”

The payouts: Some of the biggest payments went to the people closest to Cullors:

Baby-daddy: $970,000 was paid to Damon Turner, the father of Cullors’ child to “produce live events” and provide “creative services.”

Brother: $840,000 was paid to Paul Cullors, her brother, for “security services”

Old-ally: $2.1 million was paid to Shalomyah Bowers, a close ally of BLM and former deputy executive director, for consulting on operations and hiring.

Cullors paid herself $120,000 in “consulting” fees

Private jet: $73,000 was also paid for a chartered jet due to “covid concerns”

Investments: The tax filings also revealed that out of the $90 million in donations they solicited during the racial justice protests in 2020, it invested $32 million in the stock market.

Two state attorney generals are already investigating BLM and this new tax filing will likely only add fuel to their investigations.

Keep in mind that American people gave their hard-earned money to this group, thinking it was going to help ‘Black Lives’. And it appears the only black lives it helped were the ones closest to Patrisse Cullors.
