E-MAILS REVEAL FAUCI KNEW LAB LEAK WAS PLAUSIBLE IN FEBRUARY 2020

Previously redacted e-mails, released in their full context on Tuesday, reveal that back in February 2020, Dr. Anthony Fauci was warned by several top scientists from around the world that Covid looked like it leaked from a lab. But publicly, he called it a “conspiracy theory” anyway.

Other e-mails between Fauci, the former head of the NIH, Dr. Francis Collins, and other top international scientists reveal they wanted these early warnings to be “silenced for the sake of science” because they feared it would hurt “international harmony” and could “harm science in China.”

Zoom out: We should give huge credit to Rep. Jim Jordan and Rep. James Comer who revealed the previously redacted text to the public. They literally had staff hand-copy the e-mails as they were given access to them behind closed doors.

Big picture: These newly redacted e-mails reveal Dr. Fauci was warned of two things:

The potential that covid leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology
The possibility that the virus was intentionally genetically manipulated

Here are some of the early warnings that Fauci and Collins were given in the e-mails:

📧 An email from Sir Jeremy Farrar, director of the Wellcome Trust, on February 2, 2020, said that “a likely explanation” was that Covid had rapidly evolved from a Sars-like virus inside human tissue in a low-security lab.
📧 Farrar went on to say that such evolution may have “accidentally created a virus primed for rapid transmission between humans.”
📧 Tulane Medical School microbiology professor Robert Garry said there was “no plausible natural scenario” for a bat coronavirus to gain certain amino acids and nucleotides observed in SARS-CoV-2.
📧 Gerry continued: “I just can’t figure out how this gets accomplished in nature… Of course, in the lab, it would be easy to generate…”
The cover-up: Separate e-mail chains show Fauci and Collins conspiring with other global scientists to squash the lab leak theory back in February of 2020.

On one e-mail chain, a Dutch scientist warned that “further debate about such accusations would unnecessarily distract top researchers from their active duties and do unnecessary harm to science in general and science in China in particular.”

In another e-mail, Francis Collins said: ” a swift convening of experts in a confidence-inspiring framework is needed, or the voices of conspiracy will quickly dominate, doing great potential harm to science and international harmony.”

Even if you were to assume that Fauci ignored their warnings because he truly believed they were wrong, it spits in the face of science to declare the opinions of top scientists as “conspiracy theories.”
