Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey came to the defense of Elon Musk taking shots at Twitter’s board in a series of tweet replies.
Dorsey still sits on Twitter’s board, but plans to leave once his term expires.
Back up: Elon Musk is seeking to buy Twitter outright for $43 billion dollars, but the Twitter board of directors has so far blocked him from doing so.
Here are some of the digs that the former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey took at the Twitter board for their efforts to block Musk:
When one Twitter user quoted Fred Destin, saying
“Good boards don’t create good companies, but a bad board will kill a company every time.”
Dorsey replied:
“big facts”
When another Twitter user described the “plots and coups” that the board took in the early days of Twitter
Dorsey replied
“it’s consistently been the dysfunction of the company”
The war for control over Twitter gets more interesting by the day.
