Joe Biden and his Soros-Funded Influence Operation TikTok Brigade
Billionaire Democratic donor George Soros has once again made waves, this time by financing a group of Gen-Z TikTok creators who vocally support President Joe Biden while actively criticizing conservative viewpoints.
Follow the Money: The trail of funds leads directly to Soros. In 2020 and 2021, Soros’ Open Society Foundations poured a substantial $5.5 million into Accelerate Action Inc. This nonprofit organization then allocated a minimum of $300,000 to Gen-Z for Change in 2022. Notably, Accelerate Action serves as the sole source of funding for Gen-Z for Change.
Exploring Gen-Z for Change: Gen-Z for Change operates as a nonprofit entity that commands an army of roughly 500 Gen-Z individuals. These influencers vigorously promote left-wing priorities such as “climate justice,” advocating for mass illegal immigration into the United States, and endorsing the defunding of police.
Biden’s Reliance on Gen Z: The Biden administration has consistently turned to Gen Z influencers as part of its strategy to promote its policies, often beset with controversy. In 2022, Biden invited members of Gen-Z for Change to the White House for briefings on topics like the Ukraine conflict and the Covid pandemic. Furthermore, the group was granted access to witness the signing of the Inflation Reduction Act.
Payment Methods Shrouded in Mystery: One notable aspect remains shrouded in secrecy: the distribution of Soros’ financial contributions to the influencer army of Gen-Z for Change. Unfortunately, no tax documents for the organization are publicly available, leaving unanswered questions about how these funds are utilized.
Gen Z’s Shifting Sentiments: Despite the concerted efforts of the influencer army, only 36% of Gen Z currently approve of President Joe Biden’s job performance. This figure marks a significant decline from the 59% approval rating Biden enjoyed when he first assumed office in January 2021.
Soros’ financial backing of Gen-Z influencers adds a layer of complexity to the political landscape, raising questions about the role of powerful donors in shaping public opinion, especially among younger generations.
