The Biden regime is gearing up to hand the World Health Organization (WHO) the power to dictate what the United States does during future pandemics.

All 194 nation-state members of the WHO will meet in Switzerland to negotiate the final terms of their “legally binding” accord that will give the organization authority to declare pandemics and submit its members to “the central role of the WHO as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work.”

This will cover:

Lockdowns

Supply chains

Surveillance

Disinformation and ‘false news’

This is the same China-controlled WHO that in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, downplayed the transmission of the virus.

Remember…

On January 14, 2020, the WHO tweeted: “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China🇨🇳.”

Turns out China knew about the transmission in November 2019.

President Trump pulled our funding for WHO in April 2020. Biden restarted the funding.

17 Republican Senators are trying to push back against this accord and have introduced the ‘No WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty Without Senate Approval Act’ which would require the agreement to be treated as a treaty, which requires 2/3 of the Senate to approve.

Senator Johnson warned:

“The WHO, along with our federal health agencies, failed miserably in their response to COVID-19. This failure should not be rewarded with a new international treaty that would increase the WHO’s power at the expense of American sovereignty.”

The numbers the United States is currently the largest contributor to the WHO’s $6.72 billion budget. The second largest is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Legality: While the U.S. Constitution does require 2/3 of the Senate to vote on international treaties, U.S. presidents have increasingly been signing them without Senate consent.
