SAVE Act Aims to Ensure Voter Integrity Amidst Growing Concerns

Speaker Mike Johnson is championing the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, a legislative initiative aimed at enhancing the integrity of our Constitutional Republic’s electoral processes. The proposed legislation seeks to amend the National Voter Registration Act, introducing stringent measures to verify the citizenship status of individuals registering to vote at departments of motor vehicles (DMVs) and other state agencies, while also mandating the removal of foreign nationals from state voting rolls.

“There is currently an unprecedented and a clear and present danger to the integrity of our election system, and that is the threat of noncitizens and illegal aliens voting in our elections,” Johnson asserts, emphasizing the urgent need for corrective action.

According to Johnson, the SAVE Act represents a crucial safeguard against potential vulnerabilities in the electoral system. Despite assurances from the Biden administration and its media allies dismissing concerns about non-citizen voting, evidence suggests otherwise, with illegal voters reportedly showing a threefold preference for Democratic candidates.

In addition to the SAVE Act, separate legislation has been proposed to prevent resident foreigners, including illegal aliens, from being included in population counts used for congressional apportionment. However, the Biden administration has vehemently opposed such measures, citing concerns about their impact on redistricting efforts.

A growing number of Americans share the belief that the Biden administration’s immigration policies are aimed at bolstering Democratic electoral prospects by incentivizing illegal immigration. With projections indicating a surge in illegal immigration under Biden’s watch, concerns about its long-term implications for the political landscape have intensified.
