UN Workers Exposed: Complicity in October 7 Terrorist Assault on Israel Revealed
Israeli intelligence has unveiled a shocking revelation, asserting that United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) employees actively participated in the terrorist attack on Israel that occurred on October 7. The damning details from the Israeli intelligence dossier, shared with major Western media outlets, implicate approximately a dozen UNRWA workers, including school counselors and social workers, in the assaults.
Among the disturbing revelations, the dossier outlines instances where UNRWA employees directly engaged in the attacks. Shockingly, one of them was involved in transferring the body of a deceased Israeli soldier to Gaza, while another played a role in the abduction of an Israeli woman. The dossier further alleges that beyond the direct involvement of a dozen UNRWA employees on October 7, an additional 190 members of the agency have purportedly been doubling as militants for Hamas or Islamic Jihad.
UNRWA, tasked with providing humanitarian aid to Palestinians, employs a substantial workforce of 13,000 individuals in Gaza. In response to these alarming findings, major donors to UNRWA, including the U.S., Britain, and Japan, have taken decisive action by suspending their funding.
The staggering numbers behind this suspension are significant. An analysis by The National Pulse indicates that Western nations have contributed over $8 billion to UNRWA between 2013 and 2022, with the U.S. alone providing $2.5 billion. This revelation has brought to light the stark consequences of funding an organization with alleged ties to terrorist activities.
The Trump administration’s decision to cut funding to UNRWA in 2018, citing their refusal to engage in peace negotiations, seems prescient in the wake of these shocking disclosures. However, shortly after taking office, President Joe Biden resumed funding to the agency.
The backdrop to this revelation involves the October 7 invasion by Hamas terrorists from Gaza into Israel, resulting in the tragic loss of approximately 1,200 lives and the kidnapping of 253 individuals. Since then, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, Gaza has witnessed the deaths of 25,000 Palestinians, underscoring the ongoing complexity and severity of the situation.
