IT’S WORSE THAN WE THOUGHT

Biden’s infrastructure bill isn’t backdoor socialism. It’s coming through the front door with a red carpet rolled out.

Biden unveiled his much-anticipated infrastructure bill. And now that we have some hard details, I can confidently tell you: it’s worse than we thought.

And don’t just take my word for it. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce said the bill is ‘dangerously misguided’.

The numbers: The bill spends $2.5 trillion dollars and only 25% of it goes to infrastructure.
The rest? “Oh, you know the thing…” Here are some items that jumped out:

$400 billion on healthcare subsidies. This is almost 20% of the bill. What does this have to do with infrastructure?

$175 billion to subsidize the production of electric vehicles. By comparison, it only gives $115 billion to repair roads and bridges.

$213 billion to build 2 million affordable housing units. Why is a welfare project in an infrastructure bill?

$56 billion for grants and loans to ‘disadvantaged communities’ across the country

$12 billion to ensure jobs created in clean energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure are open to women of color. Why does this cost $12 billion dollars?

$10 billion to create a “Civilian Climate Corps”

In addition to the spending, it bans states from having “right to work” laws.
Right-to-work laws protect workers from being forced to join a union in their particular industry.
This provision is seen as a big, wet kiss to the labor unions who backed Biden in 2020.
GOP Rep. Steve Scalise accurately described the bill as “the Green New Deal under a new name.”

One of the most liberal news outlets in the country, Mother Jones, agrees.
They brag: “It’s the closest we’ve come to a realization of the Green New Deal.”

Sean Hannity slammed what he called President Biden’s ‘Green New Agenda,’ during his “Hannity” monologue, calling the idea a “massive, multitrillion-dollar tax hike, the largest in history and [a] green new energy program disguised as an infrastructure bill – which it is not.

“In fact, out of the roughly $2.3 trillion in new spending, only $650 billion is allocated for roads and bridges and general infrastructure,” Hannity continued, adding later, “$400 billion — of your hard-earned tax dollars — of this so-called ‘infrastructure bill’ would be used to expand Medicaid and, of course, billions more would be used to permanently cap oil and gas wells.

“I bet Vladimir Putin, bet the mullahs in Iran, I bet all these countries that hate us in the Middle East, they’re doing backflips and celebrating tonight — and of course in order to pay for all of this Joe Biden is proposing the most expansive tax increase in the history of the country. But according to Joe, he’s telling you no one under $400,000 a year will be affected.”

Speaking of Green New Deal, AOC isn’t satisfied. She says: “This is not nearly enough… Needs to be way bigger.”
