CALIFORNIA IS A PEDOPHILE SANCTUARY
Pedophiles in California are getting less than a year in prison after committing some of the most despicable crimes, including raping children under 14 years old, according to an analysis of the California sex offenders database.
The details: Daily Mail analyzed California’s Megan’s Law database of sex offenders and cross-referenced it with state prison records to determine how long the state was keeping pedophiles in jail. It found that over 7,000 pedophiles convicted of ‘lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age were let out of jail the same year they were incarcerated.
Some of the worst offenders include:
365 of these pedophiles had convictions for convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child
39 cases of sodomy with a child under 16
3 cases of kidnapping a child under 14 ‘with intent to commit lewd or lascivious acts’
To drive home how negligent these convictions were, here are some specific examples:
48-year-old Carlos Nahue was convicted of ‘continuous sexual abuse of a child but he only served 2 days
in jail. He now lives one block away from a Montessori School daycare and three blocks from an elementary school.
47-year-old Gualterio Lopez Contreras was charged with sodomy by the use of force, sexual penetration by force, and continuous sexual abuse of a child. He serves less than 1 year in jail.
Big picture: According to the Department of Justice, sex offenders are at least 4 times more likely than other criminals to be rearrested for sex crimes.
California’s Gov. Gavin Newsome deserves blame. He has spent his tenure backing laws that make life easier for pedophiles in California, including a bill signed in 2020 that changes the state’s sex offender law to allow judges to have a say on whether to list someone as a sex offender for having oral or anal sex with a minor.
