Federal Agents DEFIED LOCAL POLICE When they Took Down Shooter as Border Patrol Tactical Team was Ordered to HOLD BACK and Refrain from Confronting Shooter at Uvalde

Federal Agents from Border Patrol and ICE Defied the orders of Uvalde’s police chief in order to take down Salvador Ramos.

In Uvalde, Texas, where one of history’s deadliest and most tragic school shootings recently took place, police response time and inaction has been heavily criticized.

Despite a police presence on scene for over an hour, it took federal agents to end the Salvador Ramos’s vile massacre.

Mistakenly believing that the shooter was contained and no longer a threat, as the belief held was that all students inside the classroom with the shooter were already dead, Uvalde Independent School District Chief Pete Arredondo ordered law enforcement, including Border Patrol, to stand back.

Border Patrol and federal agents complied for about thirty minutes, however out of desperation as the volume of 911 calls from students within the school increased, they ultimately defied the chief’s orders to enter the school and eliminate the gunman.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott made the following statement.

Calling the fact that families have suffered from false information “Inexcusable,” Abbott demanded that law enforcement “Get down to every second what happened, and explain it to the public – but most importantly, to the victims.”

Tactically equipped Border Patrol Agents were not allowed to go after gunman blocked by local law enforcement.

During the tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas Border Patrol and ICE agents arrived on the scene, specially equipped for situations like this, only to be stymied by local law enforcement.

Arriving between 12:00pm and 12:10pm, the Border Patrol and ICE agents did not breach the classrooms until nearly 1:00pm-almost an hour after arrival.

Although the federal tactical team eliminated the gunman, it is possible that they would have been able to neutralize the situation sooner had they not been told to hold back by local law enforcement.

The local police have stated that their primary objective was rescuing the other students and teachers, however medical experts have stated that their delay may have cost the lives of more wounded children.

Law enforcement has stated that they did not go in for fear of their own lives and being shot, as another contributing factor. One issue though is they just got training on this in March.

Making the correct call would have been difficult, however many experts and grieving loved ones of the victims alike have expressed anger and outrage over the decision, believing that if law enforcement had acted sooner-or let the tactically equipped federal agents enter immediately, some of the carnage could have been avoided.

To add insult to it all, The Texas Department of Public Safety announced that a door was left propped open by a teacher just before the shooting in Uvalde.

The Texas Department of Public Safety announces that their investigation has thus far found that a door to the school was left propped open by a teacher prior to the shooting and that a school resource officer drove right past the shooter unknowingly on their way to investigate the 911 calls.

The school resource officer drove to campus after hearing 911 call, inadvertently drove right by the shooter, who was kneeling down by car.

The shooter was crouched down beside a car as the resource officer drove directly by.

It is not explicitly stated whether the shooter entered the building through the open door or through other means.

The shooter fired 100 rounds within the classroom where he massacred 21 innocent people, and he was able to fire for two straight minutes before local law enforcement first entered the school building, only to be fired upon themselves by the shooter.

Ultimately due to the incorrect response by local police it took an off duty bystander to save the day

A heroic officer rushed from his barber to the school to rescue his wife and daughter from the tragic active shooter situation.

Off-duty Customs and Border Protection agent Jacob Albarado was just sitting down for a haircut at his barber when he received a chilling text from his wife, a fourth-grade teacher at Uvalde’s Robb Elementary School.

She sent, prompting Albarado to leap from his chair, commandeer the barber’s shotgun which he kept in the shop, and rush to the elementary school, where he there made plans with the other officers to rescue the children trapped inside with the maniacal shooter.

Albarado and the officers he had made the evacuation plan with entered the school in the wing where his second-grade daughter was and swiftly began to clear each classroom, guiding dozens of terrified children and teachers out of the school and to safety.

Upon finding her, Albarado embraced his daughter and then continued his plan to rescue other children in the wing.

Saddened, and grateful all at once. Only time will heal their pain and hopefully, changes will be made at all schools in the U.S., and teachers will be trained & allowed to carry in order to protect themselves and students,” he wrote in a Facebook post after learning that a friend of his daughter was among the dead children.

Albarado did what he was trained to do, and in the face of fear and tragedy, he acted saving dozens of lives.
