Illegal Alien Commits Heinous Crime in Boston then is Released by City but Captured by ICE
A Colombian national, illegally present in the U.S., was apprehended by immigration officials for the despicable act of raping a minor. Despite being initially arrested by local authorities, this illegal alien was released, only to be later found and charged by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston for the assault on a minor in Lynn, Massachusetts.
Following his arraignment, ERO Boston issued an immigration detainer for the criminal, which was callously disregarded by the local Sheriff’s Department, resulting in the release of the illegal alien back into the community. This disturbing incident sheds light on the failures of the system under the current administration, with the perpetrator having entered through Texas and benefiting from Joe Biden’s ‘Alternatives to Detention’ program.
The alarming rise in illegal alien crime is evident not only in Massachusetts but across the nation, with another recent case involving a Haitian national who assaulted a 15-year-old girl near Boston. With an estimated 200,000 illegal aliens residing in Massachusetts and a staggering 10 million entering the country since Biden assumed office, the safety and security of American communities are increasingly at risk.
ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons condemned the heinous act, emphasizing the gravity of crimes against children and the need to protect the most vulnerable members of society. The illegal alien will now face removal proceedings while being held in ICE custody, highlighting the urgent need for stricter immigration policies and enhanced cooperation between local and federal authorities to prevent such atrocities from recurring.
