“We the People is Government” is Biden’s Communist Manifesto
Listen to “We the People is Government is Biden’s Communist Manifesto” on Spreaker.
In his first major address since taking office, President Biden was [as Ted Cruz put it]: boring but radical. Biden reflected on his first 100 days and outlined a vision for America that sounded more like the Communist Manifesto than the Declaration of Independence.
This line sums up how Biden views the role of government: “Our Constitution opens with the words… ‘We the People’… ‘We the People’ are the government!” Biden has it backward. ‘We the People’ are the citizens of this free nation – not the bureaucrats in D.C.
Here are some of the major lowlights from his speech:
💰 Expanding the welfare state: Biden proposed another $4 trillion dollars in debt spending in order to massively expand the role of government in our daily lives. This is on top of the $1.9 trillion dollars ‘stimulus’ bill he signed last month. These bills would:
Expand Obamacare by providing tax credits subsidized by this bill
Hundreds of billions to subsidize ‘Green New Deal’ policies
Mandate a job-killing $15 dollar minimum wage
Raise taxes on households with a joint income of $400,000
Raise capital gains tax on Americans selling their homes or assets
🔫 Infringing on gun rights: Biden said “no amendment to the Constitution is absolute” in reference to the Second Amendment as he outlined his plans to restrict gun rights in America including a ban on ‘assault weapons’ like the AR-15. His plan would also allow gun manufacturers to be sued when someone is killed with one of their guns – a move that would effectively put all gun manufacturers out of business.
🚔 Police “reform”: Biden said we need to “root out systemic racism in our criminal justice system” by passing the ‘George Floyd Justice in Policing Act’ – a bill that would decimate police departments across the country.
🚸 Amnesty for illegals: Biden urged Congress to pass immigration reform as well as a pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants living inside the U.S. He made no mention of the crisis on our southern border.
❎ Revisionist history: Biden called the January 6th Capitol riot: “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.” Maybe Biden forgets Pearl Harbor. Or the Kennedy Assassination. Or 9/11. The Capitol riot certainly was a blemish, but hardly what Biden characterizes it as. I would say the 2017 baseball shooting where a far-left nutjob shot up the Republican Congress baseball practice was worse than the Capitol riot.
Biden followed a formula the entire night: First, he proposes a radical policy – then he backs it up by lying about the stats or lying about the American people supporting said policy. It’s exactly the formula you’d hear in a speech by Fidel Castro or Xi Jinping.
TIM SCOTT GIVES REBUTTAL TO BIDEN’S SPEECH
Senator Tim Scott gave the rebuttal to Joe Biden’s speech. Scott used his speech as an opportunity to call out the left’s anti-White racism that is being institutionalized in our nation’s schools and corporations.
“100 years ago, kids in classrooms were taught the color of their skin was their most important characteristic. And if they looked a certain way, they were inferior. Today kids are being taught the color of their skin defines them. And if they look a certain way, they’re an oppressor… Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It’s backward to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination.”
After Scott’s speech, the tolerant left took to Twitter and got the phrase “Uncle Tim” trending – suggesting that he was an “Uncle Tom” for his defense of White Americans. Horrible.
