BIDENS CENSORSHIP BOARD GETS SHUT DOWN

The Biden regime’s Disinformation Governance Board (DGB) has officially been put on indefinite hold and the head of the board, Nina Jankowicz, has resigned just three weeks after it was introduced. The announcement comes after weeks of criticism that the board was an Orwellian censorship tool.
Back up: The stated aim of the DGB was to tackle “disinformation” online that affected Homeland Security. Opponents of the board criticized it as an Orwellian censorship tool, comparing it to the ‘Ministry of Truth’ in George Orwell’s classic novel 1984.
The details: The decision to end the board came and Jankowicz drafted her resignation yesterday. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the board suffered from “mischaracterizations from outside forces.”
Where did it go wrong? Aside from Americans’ aversion to new programs aimed at policing their speech, it didn’t help that Jankowicz was, let me put it bluntly… an insane partisan. Here’s are some examples:
She’s promoted the Trump/Russia collusion story, which we now know were false.
She’s claimed the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. The laptop has since been verified as real.
She claimed the GOP was made of “disinformers” who spread “disinformation.”
She wanted to allow verified blue check-mark Twitter celebs “edit” other users’ tweets if they thought they were misleading.
Plus there are videos of her online singing about sex with Harry Potter and peep shows in bathrooms… Seriously.
Let’s pour one out for Biden’s Ministry of Truth…
